How Do I Book My First Appointment?

Booking your first session is simple. You can reach out through the contact form on my website or email me at bardanitut@gmail.com.I’ll get back to you as soon as I can, and we’ll find a time that works for both of us.

What Happens During the First Session?

The first session is a space for us to meet and get a feel for each other. We’ll talk about what brings you here, what you might be looking for, and anything that feels important to share.I’ll also tell you a bit about how I work (including AEDP and EMDR), and you can ask me anything you need in order to decide if this feels like the right place for you. There’s no pressure to get into the content, just an opportunity to be together. it’s important to me that therapy feels like a good fit, not something you have to convince yourself into. The session is 30 - 45 minutes long and free of cost.

What Does a Typical Therapy Session Look Like?

Each session is shaped around you and what you bring, but often we will: check in with where you are that day • gently explore emotions, memories, or patterns that are coming up • work with the body and nervous system, sometimes using AEDP or EMDR when it feels supportiveSessions are about an hour long.I aim to create a space that is both grounded and open, where things can unfold at your pace, and where you feel supported but also active in your own process.

How Do You Work?

My work is trauma-informed and relational. I draw from approaches like AEDP and EMDR, but more importantly, I work with what is actually happening in the room between us.My style is warm and I’m present, active and direct when needed. I’m interested in helping you connect to what’s underneath, not just talk around it, and to do that in a way that feels safe enough for your system.I work with people navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, identity, and life transitions. A big part of my work is with queer and trans clients, as well as people dealing with migration, relocation, or belonging.

Do You Offer Therapy in English?

Yes! I offer sessions in English, Hebrew, and German.I’m used to working with people who move between languages and cultures, and we can also shift between languages in session if that feels natural.

How Much Does Therapy Cost?

Making therapy accessible for my community is a core value in my work.My standard rate is 120€ per session. I always offer a sliding scale between 60–120€, and I trust clients to choose a rate that reflects their financial reality while also respecting the work. Some clients who are more financially stable choose to pay towards the higher end of the scale, which helps make lower-cost spots possible.

No one is turned away due to lack of funds: I always have a small number of reduced-rate and pro bono spots, so feel free to reach out and I’ll be happy to work with you in a way that feels possible.

Sessions with a Heilpraktiker für Psychotherapie are not covered by public insurance, but some private insurance plans may reimburse part of the cost. I provide invoices.

What Issues Can You Help With?

I work with, among other things: • trauma and nervous system regulation (AEDP / EMDR) • queer and trans mental health • sexuality, gender, and identity exploration • anxiety and depression • relationship changes and breakups • relocation, migration, and belonging • self-esteem and personal growthYou don’t need to come with a clear “issue”, wanting to explore and feel is enough, we can figure things out together.

What If I’ve Never Been to Therapy Before?

That’s completely okay. A lot of people I work with are starting therapy for the first time. You don’t need to prepare anything or know how this works. We’ll go step by step, and part of my role is to help make the process feel understandable and grounded. There’s no way to do this “right”, just showing up is enough.

How Long Will I Need Therapy?

It really depends. Some people come for a few sessions around a specific topic, others stay longer for deeper work. We’ll keep checking in together about what feels useful and where you are in the process, so it doesn’t become something automatic or unclear

What Makes Your Practice Different?

As a queer, trans, and non-binary therapist, I bring both professional training and lived experience into the room.I know how much it can matter to be met without needing to explain or justify parts of yourself. My focus is on creating a space that feels real, relational, and brave, where we can actually work with what’s there, and where change comes not just from insight, but from experience.
